Whatever your requirements, Detek Systems will provide a system to best suit your needs. The following represents 4 of the main systems employed to detect liquid & humidity.
Zonal systems
Zonal systems are the easiest and cheapest way of protecting areas from any fluid leaks or floods. The control Panel monitors the sensing equipment for any fluid it comes into contact with it. The zones cover specific areas regarded as high risk. No risk areas are not covered, thus lowering the cost.
Ideal for computer rooms, communication rooms, boiler areas and other isolated areas.
Leak sensing systems
Leak sensing systems are designed for very large or awkward areas requiring fluid or leak coverage. The sensing cable covers the entire floor area and when it locates a leak a message is back to the control panel. This message will give a specific distance which when located on the drawing supplied enables the leak to be easily found.
Ideal for areas where access is very difficult, for very long straight pipes, corridors or tunnels.
Trace Heating systems
Trace Heating is designed for covering pipes, tanks and other equipment that are situated in areas where they may become very cold or freeze. Cable is run along, or around, the vulnerable equipment and monitors the temperature. When the temperature falls below the set temperature the control panel warms the cable and stops damage to the exposed equipment.
Ideal for equipment situated in very cold areas, lofts or outside buildings where temperature could fall below freezing point.
Temperature / humidity systems
Temperature and humidity systems are designed to gauge the temperature or humidity of areas or rooms that are required to remain constant. Designed to interface with the Zonal Control Panel so that detection of fluid can also be used where necessary, these gauges monitor any change in the environment and immediately notify of any change.
Ideal for communication and data rooms, museums or laboratories where it is vital to keep the areas at constant temperature and humidity.
